AlmaMaterSolid ☞

AlmaMaterSolid is a robust and authoritative display typeface designed by Måns Grebäck. This font is inspired by the classic athletic and collegiate lettering found on American university jerseys and varsity jackets. It features heavy, geometric slab serifs and a structured block design that commands attention, making it an essential tool for designers looking to convey a sense of tradition, competition, and strength.

The solid version of this font family provides a clean, impactful appearance that works exceptionally well for high-contrast designs. As a member of the larger Alma Mater family, it is built to handle large-scale printing and digital displays with ease. Its vintage yet timeless aesthetic makes it a popular choice for sports branding, apparel labels, and retro-themed graphic projects that require a bold, masculine presence.
