Applied Sans Pro Black Italic

Applied Sans Pro Black Italic is a high-performance sans-serif typeface that combines the industrial utility of early 20th-century grotesques with contemporary refinements. Designed by Friedrich Althausen, this font family was crafted to provide a neutral yet authoritative aesthetic suitable for complex information hierarchies. The Black Italic weight is particularly striking, offering a heavy, slanted profile that commands attention while maintaining the clean, geometric discipline characteristic of the broader Applied Sans collection.

The typeface is known for its meticulous spacing and open counters, which ensure exceptional legibility even at extreme weights and angles. As a 'Pro' version, it includes extensive OpenType features such as multiple numeral sets and expanded language support. It serves as an excellent choice for designers who require a robust, versatile typeface that can transition seamlessly between high-impact headlines and structured corporate communication.
