Askan Slim Light Regular

Askan Slim Light Regular is a sophisticated sans-serif typeface designed by Dieter Hofrichter and released through the Hoftype foundry. Part of a comprehensive type family, Askan is rooted in humanist traditions but refined with a modern, clear aesthetic. The Slim variant specifically addresses the need for space-saving verticality without sacrificing the font's characteristic elegance or legibility, making it a versatile tool for contemporary designers.

The Light Regular weight provides a delicate and airy feel that is particularly effective in high-end editorial contexts and minimalist web layouts. Its balanced proportions and open counters ensure that it remains highly readable even at smaller point sizes, while its refined stroke terminals offer a touch of personality that distinguishes it from more clinical neo-grotesque typefaces.
