BakerSignet LT Regular

Baker Signet LT Regular was designed by the renowned calligrapher and type designer Arthur Baker in 1965. Originally created for the Visual Graphics Corporation (VGC), this typeface is celebrated for its unique blend of classical Roman proportions and fluid, calligraphic flourishes. The font is characterized by its distinct flared terminals and a high degree of stroke contrast, which gives it a sense of movement and refined elegance that stands out in display settings.

Over the decades, Baker Signet has become a popular choice for high-end branding, logo design, and editorial applications. Its sophisticated appearance allows it to convey both authority and grace, making it particularly effective for mastheads, book covers, and luxury product packaging. As part of the Linotype library, it continues to be a timeless tool for designers seeking a typeface that balances historical calligraphic traditions with mid-century modern sensibilities.
