Banjax Notched Bold Regular

Banjax Notched Bold Regular is a striking geometric stencil typeface that belongs to the wider Banjax family, crafted by designer Keith Bates. Drawing deep inspiration from Herbert Bayer’s Universal alphabet and the minimalist principles of the Bauhaus movement, this font elevates the classic rounded sans-serif aesthetic by introducing precise 'notches' or breaks in the character strokes. This modification transforms the typeface into a sophisticated stencil design that feels both architectural and experimental.

The Bold Regular weight provides a robust and commanding presence, making it an excellent choice for display typography. Its clean, circular construction combined with rhythmic apertures allows for high legibility while maintaining a unique industrial character. It is frequently utilized by designers who want to bridge the gap between retro-modernism and contemporary tech aesthetics, offering a versatile tool for projects that require a strong, structured visual identity.
