Blacker Text Medium Italic

Blacker Text Medium Italic is a sophisticated wedge serif typeface designed by Francesco Canovaro and Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini for Zetafonts. It represents a contemporary evolution of the 'evil serif' aesthetic, characterized by high contrast and aggressive triangular serifs. The 'Text' sub-family is specifically engineered for enhanced legibility at smaller sizes, offering more balanced proportions and open counters than its display counterparts while maintaining its sharp, distinctive personality.

The Medium Italic variant provides a rhythmic, slanted elegance that is ideal for adding emphasis and a sense of motion to editorial layouts. Drawing inspiration from the decorative serif trends of the 1970s, it manages to feel both nostalgic and cutting-edge. This font is a staple for designers looking for a bold typographic voice that conveys authority, luxury, and a modern edge in high-end print and digital media.
