Bogue-BoldItalic Regular

Bogue-BoldItalic Regular is a sophisticated slab serif typeface designed by the renowned Finnish type designer Mika Melvas. This specific variant combines the structural integrity of a heavy slab serif with the graceful, fluid motion of a true italic. The design is characterized by its soft, rounded corners and large x-height, which bridge the gap between industrial strength and organic warmth, making it highly legible in both digital and print mediums.

The Bogue family was crafted to be versatile across various weights, but the Bold Italic style stands out for its energetic personality and rhythmic flow. It features distinctively shaped terminals and a robust character that allows it to command attention without feeling overly aggressive. Over the years, it has become a favorite for designers looking for a contemporary take on the classic Egyptian style, offering a friendly yet professional aesthetic for modern communication.
