Calps Sans Slim ExtraBlack Regular

Calps Sans Slim ExtraBlack Regular is a powerhouse geometric sans-serif typeface designed by Akihiro Sato. This specific weight is part of a larger, versatile family engineered for high-impact communication. It features an incredibly dense stroke width combined with a condensed, slim profile, allowing designers to pack a significant visual punch within constrained horizontal spaces. The design balances industrial rigidity with modern geometric precision, ensuring each character maintains structural integrity despite the extreme weight.

Released through the Type Forward foundry, Calps Sans has gained popularity for its authoritative yet clean aesthetic. The ExtraBlack variant is particularly noted for its ability to dominate a layout without sacrificing legibility. Its meticulously crafted counters and tight kerning make it an essential tool for contemporary editorial design, high-end branding, and large-scale environmental graphics where a bold, unmistakable presence is required.
