Campione

Campione is a robust, slab-serif display typeface designed by Ray Larabie under the Typodermic Fonts foundry. Inspired by the timeless aesthetic of athletic lettering found on varsity jackets and collegiate uniforms, it features heavy strokes and blocky terminals that command an authoritative presence. This typeface is a staple in the world of sports design, capturing the spirit of competition and team tradition through its solid, geometric construction.

The family is highly versatile, often offering both solid and outlined versions that allow for layering and complex visual effects. Because of its high legibility and bold weights, Campione is frequently chosen for stadium signage, broadcast graphics, and large-scale marketing materials. It remains a go-to choice for designers looking to evoke a sense of strength, heritage, and professional athletic excellence.
