Cartoon Script Regular

Cartoon Script Regular is a playful and friendly typeface designed by Keith Bates for K-Type. It was created to emulate the informal, hand-lettered style commonly found in classic comic book speech bubbles and children's storybooks. The font features a monolinear stroke weight with soft, rounded terminals that provide a warm and approachable aesthetic, making it highly effective for casual communication.

Over the years, Cartoon Script has become a popular choice for designers looking for a balance between legibility and character. Its consistent rhythm and lack of harsh angles make it particularly suitable for educational materials, youth-oriented branding, and digital content where a relaxed, human touch is required. It remains a staple in the library of fonts used for informal invitations and creative graphic design.
