Catamaran Extra Light

Catamaran is a highly versatile and comprehensive typeface family designed by Priti Koppikad. It was specifically developed as a dual-script font, accommodating both the Devanagari and Latin scripts. The project aims to provide a high-quality, open-source solution for multilingual typography, ensuring that both scripts work harmoniously together in various weights and styles, making it a favorite for global brands.

The Extra Light weight of Catamaran offers a delicate and modern aesthetic, making it ideal for large-scale displays and elegant interface designs. Its construction is based on the Arimo family for the Latin portion, which has been carefully refined to match the proportions and visual weight of the Devanagari characters, resulting in a balanced and professional look for digital and print media alike.
