Catamaran Light

Catamaran is a contemporary multi-script typeface family designed by Pria Ravichandran. Originally conceived as a Devanagari font, the family was meticulously expanded to include a matching Latin set, creating a seamless typographic experience across different languages. The design strikes a harmonious balance between traditional calligraphic influences and modern geometric clarity, resulting in a versatile sans-serif that excels in both legibility and personality.

The Light weight of Catamaran is specifically engineered to provide an airy, elegant aesthetic without sacrificing readability. As a Humanist sans-serif, it features open counters and organic shapes that prevent the font from appearing overly sterile. Released under the SIL Open Font License, it has become a staple for designers looking for a high-quality, professional typeface that works across digital platforms and high-resolution print materials.
