Centennial LT 55 Roman Regular was designed by the legendary typographer Adrian Frutiger in 1986 for Linotype. Created to commemorate the company's 100th anniversary, this typeface represents a contemporary interpretation of the Modern or Didone style. It draws inspiration from the late 18th and early 19th-century works of Bodoni and Didot but introduces improved legibility and more robust proportions for modern printing standards.
