Chreed Extra Light

Chreed is a contemporary sans-serif typeface designed by the prolific Indonesian type designer Eko Bimantara. It features a clean, geometric structure with subtle grotesque influences, making it highly versatile for modern digital environments. The Extra Light weight specifically offers an elegant, airy aesthetic that excels in large display formats where clarity and sophistication are paramount.

The typeface was developed to bridge the gap between technical precision and humanist warmth. Its wide range of weights allows for complex typographic hierarchies, while the Extra Light iteration focuses on thin strokes and wide apertures. Since its release, Chreed has become a popular choice for branding projects and editorial layouts that require a minimalist yet impactful visual presence.
