Clarity City Medium

Clarity City Medium is a refined sans-serif typeface meticulously developed by the VMware Design Team as a core component of the Clarity Design System. Designed specifically for enterprise-level software and modern digital interfaces, this font balances geometric precision with humanistic touches. The medium weight provides an excellent middle ground, offering more presence than the regular weight while maintaining the clean, unobtrusive nature required for complex user dashboards.

As a geometric sans-serif, Clarity City Medium draws inspiration from classic modernists while optimizing every character for screen readability. Its open apertures and consistent stroke widths ensure that text remains legible even at small sizes or on low-resolution displays. Since its release, it has gained popularity among UI/UX designers looking for a professional, open-source alternative to premium fonts like Gotham or Proxima Nova, making it a staple for high-end web development projects.
