Coming Soon Regular is a delightful handwriting-style typeface created by Dathan Boardman of Open Window. The font was inspired by the casual and friendly handwriting of the designer's mother, aiming to capture a sense of personal warmth and approachability. Its design features rounded terminals and a consistent stroke weight, which helps it maintain excellent legibility even at smaller sizes, distinguishing it from more erratic script fonts.
Since its inclusion in the Google Fonts library, Coming Soon has become a staple for projects requiring an informal yet clean aesthetic. It is frequently utilized in educational materials, digital scrapbooking, and casual interface design. The font strikes a perfect balance between the organic feel of manual lettering and the structural integrity needed for modern digital typography.
