Cormorant Light Regular

Cormorant Light Regular is a distinguished member of the Cormorant font family, an expansive open-source project created by Christian Thalmann of Catharsis Fonts. Inspired by the timeless elegance of Garamond, Thalmann designed this face to bring a sharp, contemporary edge to traditional serif aesthetics. The project, which launched in 2015, focuses on high-contrast display characteristics, offering a level of refinement often reserved for premium boutique typefaces.

The Light Regular weight specifically showcases the delicate, hairline precision of the family's strokes. It is characterized by its exceptionally thin connections and fluid, organic curves that maintain a sense of luxury and grace. Because of its intricate detail and high contrast, it is optimized for display purposes where its sophisticated craftsmanship can be prominently displayed in high-resolution environments.
