Cormorant SC Medium Regular

Cormorant SC Medium Regular is a distinguished member of the Cormorant family, an extensive display serif typeface project developed by Christian Thalmann of Catharsis Fonts. Inspired by the legendary 16th-century typefaces of Claude Garamond, this specific variant is characterized by its Small Caps (SC) design. Instead of standard lowercase characters, it utilizes smaller capital letters, lending an air of classical authority and sophisticated elegance to any typographic layout.

The Medium weight of Cormorant SC provides a slightly sturdier presence than its lighter counterparts while maintaining the sharp, high-contrast serifs that define the family. As an open-source project released under the SIL Open Font License, it has become a staple for designers looking to blend historical grace with modern digital precision. It is particularly effective for high-end editorial work, luxury branding, and formal invitations where a timeless, scholarly aesthetic is desired.
