Countach Regular

Countach Regular is a sleek, geometric sans-serif typeface designed by the prolific British designer Rian Hughes for his foundry, Device Fonts. The typeface takes its inspiration from the sharp, angular lines and wide stance of 1970s supercars, specifically the iconic Lamborghini Countach. Its design language speaks to high-velocity performance, technical precision, and a retro-futuristic aesthetic that captures the essence of late 20th-century Italian industrial design.

The font features a strong horizontal emphasis and square-off forms, which provides it with a robust and authoritative presence on the page or screen. Countach is particularly effective in contexts requiring a sense of speed or modern luxury. Its clean terminals and wide proportions make it a favorite for automotive branding, sci-fi cinema titles, and high-end editorial layouts where a bold, technological personality is required to stand out.
