Daytona Regular

Daytona Regular was meticulously crafted by Jim Wasco for Monotype, drawing its primary inspiration from the high-stakes world of televised sports broadcasting. The font was engineered specifically to meet the rigorous demands of on-screen legibility, featuring a large x-height and squared-off curves that maintain clarity even in low-resolution environments or during fast-paced motion graphics.

While its roots are firmly planted in the athletic and broadcasting sectors, the Daytona family has evolved into a versatile humanist sans-serif suitable for a wide array of applications. Its sturdy construction and professional aesthetic make it an excellent choice for modern corporate branding, digital user interfaces, and print advertising where a sense of precision and energy is essential.
