DejaRip Medium Regular

DejaRip Medium Regular is a sophisticated sans-serif typeface designed by Sindre Bremnes and published through the Monokrom Skriftstøperi. Originally developed for editorial use, specifically for the Norwegian weekly newspaper Dag og Tid, the font was crafted to withstand the demanding conditions of low-quality newsprint while maintaining a sharp, modern aesthetic. The Medium Regular weight provides a sturdy yet elegant presence, bridging the gap between delicate body text and authoritative display headlines.

The architecture of DejaRip is rooted in the tradition of early 20th-century grotesques but features refined terminals and open counters that enhance readability in digital environments. Its balanced proportions and rhythmic spacing make it a versatile workhorse for complex typographic systems. Whether used in print or on screen, it offers a distinct personality that is both professional and approachable, making it a favorite among graphic designers for high-end branding and editorial projects.
