Disney Epcot Center Regular

The Disney Epcot Center Regular font, also widely recognized by the name 'World Bold,' was specifically crafted to represent the forward-thinking and optimistic spirit of the EPCOT Center, which opened in 1982. This typeface was a core component of the park's visual identity, appearing on everything from the iconic entrance signage to the individual pavilion logos in Future World. Its design is rooted in the geometric modernism of the late 20th century, mirroring the architectural aesthetics of the park itself.

The font is characterized by its wide, geometric sans-serif letterforms and clean lines, which offer a high degree of legibility while maintaining a distinctively futuristic feel. Over the decades, it has become a symbol of 1980s retro-futurism. While the original typeface was a proprietary design for Walt Disney Imagineering, digital revivals have made it accessible for fans and designers looking to capture the specific nostalgic aesthetic of early Disney theme park branding.
