Domaine Display Black Italic

Domaine Display Black Italic is a masterpiece of modern serif design, crafted by the renowned designer Kris Sowersby of the Klim Type Foundry. Released in 2013, the Domaine family evolved from a custom project for a French client into a comprehensive exploration of 19th-century Latin styles. This specific weight, the Black Italic, showcases extreme contrast and sharp, elegant curves that command attention on any page or screen.

The typeface is celebrated for its flamboyant yet sophisticated personality, blending the traditional structure of French elegance with contemporary editorial requirements. With its dramatic slant and exaggerated terminals, Domaine Display Black Italic is particularly effective in high-end publishing and luxury branding, where its unique silhouette provides a sense of timeless authority and stylistic flair.
