Domaine Display Bold Italic

Domaine Display was designed by Kris Sowersby and released through the Klim Type Foundry in 2013. It is a contemporary serif family that explores the "Scotch Roman" style while drawing heavy inspiration from the elegant, high-contrast aesthetics of late 19th-century French typography. Originally developed as a bespoke typeface for a magazine, the Domaine family excels in editorial contexts where dramatic flourishes and sharp details are required to capture the reader's attention.

The Bold Italic weight is particularly striking, featuring fluid, calligraphic curves and exceptionally sharp terminals. It balances the rigidity of traditional serif structures with a modern, fashion-forward sensibility, making it a staple in luxury branding and high-end magazine titles. Its design provides a rhythmic flow across the page, ensuring that large-scale headlines remain both legible and visually captivating.
