Domaine Display Condensed Bold Italic

Domaine Display Condensed Bold Italic is a sophisticated serif typeface designed by Kris Sowersby of the Klim Type Foundry. Released in 2013, the Domaine family originated from a bespoke project for the Hardy Wine Company, where the objective was to create a typeface that reflected the elegance of French Latin-style serifs. This specific variant, the Condensed Bold Italic, pushes the boundaries of the Latin style, featuring sharp terminals, dramatic curves, and a high contrast between thick and thin strokes that defines the "Display" classification.

The Domaine Display series is celebrated for its ability to bridge the gap between historical elegance and contemporary utility. The Condensed Bold Italic weight provides a powerful tool for designers working in tight spaces where personality and impact cannot be sacrificed. Its slanted form adds a dynamic sense of motion and urgency to the classic serif structure, making it a staple in high-end editorial design, fashion branding, and premium packaging projects worldwide.
