Domaine Text Medium Regular

Domaine Text Medium Regular was designed by Kris Sowersby of the Klim Type Foundry. It emerged from a project to create a bespoke typeface for a wine magazine, eventually expanding into a massive superfamily that bridges the gap between the sharpness of Latin types and the functionality of Scotch Romans. While the display versions are known for their high contrast and elegance, the Text version is specifically engineered for legibility and durability in long-form reading environments.

The Medium Regular weight offers a slightly more robust presence than the standard regular weight, providing better visual weight for body copy that needs to stand out or maintain clarity on lower-resolution screens. It features open counters and carefully bracketed serifs, making it a contemporary classic for editorial designers who require both style and substance in their typography.
