Domaine Text Regular

Domaine Text Regular is a sophisticated serif typeface designed by Kris Sowersby of the Klim Type Foundry. Released in 2013 as part of the extensive Domaine superfamily, this font was meticulously crafted to maintain clarity and elegance at smaller point sizes. It draws heavy inspiration from 19th-century Latin types, blending the structural integrity of the Scotch Roman style with the refined, curvaceous details found in classic French and Dutch typography.

The typeface is characterized by its sharp terminals, robust proportions, and a generous x-height, all of which contribute to its exceptional legibility. Unlike its high-contrast Display counterparts, the Text variant features a more balanced stroke weight that prevents thin lines from disappearing in print or on-screen. This makes it a premier choice for designers looking for a font that conveys a sense of timeless authority while performing reliably in demanding editorial environments.
