Eds Market Wide Regular

Eds Market Wide Regular is a standout member of the extensive Ed’s Market collection, meticulously crafted by the esteemed type designer Laura Worthington. This font family draws its inspiration from the soulful, hand-painted grocery posters and shop signage of the mid-20th century. The Wide variation specifically provides an expanded horizontal presence, capturing the casual yet deliberate strokes of a sign painter’s brush to create a sense of nostalgia and warmth.

Unlike many digital fonts that strive for perfection, Eds Market Wide Regular embraces its hand-drawn origins with slightly irregular edges and a balanced, rustic aesthetic. It is an ideal choice for designers looking to inject a retro-Americana vibe into their work. Whether used for bold headlines or unique identity systems, it maintains high legibility while offering a distinct personality that feels both authentic and approachable.
