EquitanSans-BlackItalic Bold Italic

Equitan Sans is a sophisticated humanist sans-serif typeface family designed by Dieter Hofrichter and released through his foundry, Hoftype, in 2013. The typeface is meticulously crafted with clear, open letterforms and a low stroke contrast, which provides exceptional legibility and a balanced typographic color across various media platforms. It represents a modern interpretation of classic sans-serif proportions, making it a versatile choice for contemporary design needs.

The Black Italic weight, specifically EquitanSans-BlackItalic, is the most powerful and dynamic member of the family. It combines the sheer mass of the black weight with the fluid, forward-leaning motion of a true italic. This specific style is ideal for high-impact display work where a sense of strength, urgency, and professional elegance is required, ensuring that headlines and branding elements command attention effectively.
