EquitanSans-LightItalic Italic

Equitan Sans is a comprehensive typeface family developed by Diana Ovezea, focusing on the intersection of geometric structure and humanist warmth. The Light Italic variant is characterized by its slender strokes and a rhythmic, sophisticated slant that enhances legibility in complex layouts. Its design philosophy centers on clarity and versatility, making it a reliable choice for modern designers who require a neutral yet expressive sans-serif.

Released through the Indian Type Foundry, Equitan Sans has gained popularity for its extensive weight range and multi-language support. The Light Italic weight specifically excels in editorial environments where a gentle emphasis is needed without disrupting the visual flow of the page. It manages to remain distinct while feeling part of a cohesive design system, suitable for both digital and print applications.
