EtruscoNow Heavy Regular

EtruscoNow Heavy Regular is a sophisticated contemporary revival of the classic Etrusco typeface, which was originally released by the prestigious Italian foundry Nebiolo in the early 1920s. Developed by designers Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Mario Perbene for Zetafonts, this heavy weight captures the robust, leaden soul of early 20th-century grotesque wood types, meticulously modernizing their proportions for high-impact digital and print applications.

The Heavy Regular weight specifically emphasizes industrial strength and typographic elegance. While the original Etrusco served as an Italian alternative to early Grotesques like Venus and Akzidenz-Grotesk, EtruscoNow expands the lineage into a comprehensive versatile system. Its wide proportions and solid geometry make it an excellent choice for editorial design, bold branding, and large-scale signage that requires an authoritative yet historically grounded aesthetic.
