Fido Regular

Fido Regular is a charming and approachable sans-serif typeface designed by Alan Meeks in 1993 for Letraset. Characterized by its soft, rounded terminals and a heavy weight that manages to remain friendly rather than imposing, the font draws inspiration from casual hand-lettering and brushwork styles. Its slightly irregular baseline and organic curves give it a human touch, making it stand out from more rigid geometric typefaces.

Because of its thick strokes and playful personality, Fido Regular is highly effective for large-scale display use. It excels in environments where a sense of warmth and accessibility is required, such as in children's literature, toy branding, and food packaging. The design captures a nostalgic yet timeless quality that allows it to bridge the gap between retro signage and modern digital graphics.
