Flink Neue Cmp Bold Italic

Flink Neue Cmp Bold Italic is a refined geometric sans-serif that belongs to the extensive Flink Neue type system, developed by Nils Thomsen of TypeMates. As a compressed (Cmp) variant, it is specifically engineered to deliver maximum visual impact within tight horizontal spaces. The bold italic style introduces a dynamic sense of motion and urgency, making it an excellent choice for modern design environments that require both technical precision and a strong, authoritative voice.

The design of Flink Neue was inspired by the desire to create a versatile workhorse that bridges the gap between classic Swiss minimalism and contemporary digital aesthetics. The compressed sub-family is particularly effective for editorial layouts, sports branding, and large-scale signage. Its robust character shapes and sharp, italicized slant ensure that the font remains legible and striking across both print and high-resolution digital screens, providing designers with a reliable tool for high-pressure typographic tasks.
