Fontin Regular

Fontin is a professional serif typeface designed by Jos Buivenga of exljbris Font Foundry. It was specifically engineered to be highly legible at small point sizes, making it an excellent choice for complex layouts and dense body copy. The font features a relatively high x-height and short ascenders and descenders, which contributes to its robust appearance and exceptional clarity on both digital screens and printed paper.

The Fontin Regular style is characterized by its elegant, slightly condensed letterforms and unique terminal shapes that give it a contemporary yet classical feel. Since its release, it has become one of the most respected free-to-use professional fonts in the design community, often praised for its high-quality kerning and comprehensive character set that includes small caps and ligatures.
