Fontin Sans Rg Bold

Fontin Sans Rg Bold is a humanist sans-serif typeface designed by Jos Buivenga for his foundry, exljbris. It was developed as a companion to the original Fontin serif family, maintaining the same organic flow and distinctive personality while stripping away the serifs for a cleaner, more modern look. The Bold weight specifically emphasizes the font's unique calligraphic roots, featuring open counters and a high x-height that ensures exceptional legibility even in challenging digital environments.

Since its release, the font has become a favorite among designers for its ability to provide warmth and character without sacrificing professional clarity. Unlike many geometric sans-serifs that can feel cold or mechanical, Fontin Sans Rg Bold offers a more fluid and human touch, making it a versatile choice for both high-end print editorial work and contemporary web interfaces. It stands as a testament to the exljbris philosophy of creating high-quality, functional typography that remains accessible to the creative community.
