Fontin SmallCaps Regular

Fontin SmallCaps Regular was meticulously crafted by Jos Buivenga, the founder of the exljbris font foundry. Originally designed to be a typeface that excels at small sizes, the Fontin family is known for its high x-height and distinctive open counters. The SmallCaps variant is a specialized version that offers professionally designed small capitals, ensuring that the stroke weight and proportions remain consistent with the regular lowercase letters for a balanced typographic color.

The typeface has become a favorite among designers for its high legibility and professional finish, often serving as a go-to choice for those seeking quality without high licensing costs. Fontin SmallCaps is particularly effective in complex typesetting environments such as academic journals and editorial layouts, where typographic hierarchy and clarity are paramount. Its robust design allows it to perform flawlessly in both high-resolution print and digital screen environments.
