Forma DJR UI Regular is a sophisticated revival of the 1968 typeface Forma, originally released by the Nebiolo foundry in Italy. A collective of designers led by Aldo Novarese created the original to serve as a rational, mid-century response to the dominance of Helvetica and Univers. David Jonathan Ross (DJR) modernized the family, meticulously restoring its distinctive ink traps and tight spacing for a new generation of digital applications.

The UI (User Interface) variant specifically tailors the design for small-scale legibility and screen-based environments. By subtly opening up the spacing and refining the character heights, Ross ensured that the font remains exceptionally readable in mobile app menus, dashboards, and dense information displays. It strikes a perfect balance between industrial coolness and contemporary functional precision.
