Formular Extra Light

Formular Extra Light is a contemporary geometric sans-serif designed by Gayaneh Bagdasaryan and Vyacheslav Kirilenko for the Brownfox foundry. The typeface is a modern interpretation of the grotesque style, blending the strict rationality of the Swiss school with a unique, slightly eccentric personality. The Extra Light weight specifically showcases the typeface's delicate construction and precise geometry, making it an excellent choice for designers seeking a sophisticated and airy aesthetic.

Released to cater to high-end editorial and branding needs, the Formular family features a wide range of weights. The Extra Light variant is particularly effective in large display sizes where its thin, crisp strokes and open counters can be fully appreciated. Its design characteristics include a large x-height and distinct geometric letterforms that ensure clarity while maintaining a distinctively modern, professional atmosphere across both print and digital platforms.
