Formular Regular

Formular Regular is a sophisticated neo-grotesque typeface designed by Gayaneh Bagdasaryan and Vyacheslav Kirilenko for the Brownfox foundry in 2014. This typeface is a modern interpretation of Swiss typographic traditions, successfully merging strict geometric proportions with subtle, idiosyncratic details. Its design philosophy centers on balancing the rationality of mid-century modernism with the demands of contemporary digital environments, resulting in a typeface that feels both clinical and expressive.

The font is characterized by its large x-height, open apertures, and a distinctive rhythmic quality that ensures exceptional legibility across various media. Supporting an extensive range of Latin and Cyrillic characters, Formular has become a favorite for international branding projects. Whether used in high-density text or bold display settings, it maintains a crisp, professional aesthetic that is synonymous with high-end editorial and corporate design.
