Franklin Gothic Demi Condensed Normal

Franklin Gothic was designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1902 for American Type Founders (ATF). Named after Benjamin Franklin, it is one of the most iconic and enduring sans-serif typefaces ever created. The Demi Condensed variant provides a more compact horizontal profile while maintaining the bold, authoritative presence of the original design, making it an essential tool for editorial and high-impact advertising contexts.

Known for its industrial character and high legibility, this typeface features a distinctive double-story lowercase 'g' and a slight stroke contrast characteristic of early 20th-century grotesques. It has been widely used in newspaper headlines, transportation signage, and corporate branding for over a century. The demi weight offers a perfectly balanced thickness that ensures clarity even in tight spaces, solidifying its place as a versatile classic for modern graphic designers.
