FS Lola Bold Regular

FS Lola Bold Regular was designed by Phil Garnham and released by the Fontsmith foundry. It was originally conceived as a typeface that blends the sturdy structure of a slab serif with the fluid, approachable curves of a humanist sans-serif. This design duality gives the font a unique personality that is both resilient and friendly, making it a standout choice for contemporary digital and print environments.

The Bold weight specifically enhances the typeface's distinctive rounded terminals and open counters. It was crafted to maintain high legibility while offering a soft, organic feel that avoids the coldness often associated with geometric typefaces. Since its release, it has been widely adopted by brands seeking a voice that is professional yet characterful and distinct from standard corporate sans-serifs.
