FSP - Favela Black Italic

Favela Black Italic is a standout member of the Favela family, a versatile sans-serif typeface designed by the renowned Mateusz Machalski. This specific weight combines a heavy, authoritative presence with a dynamic italic slant, creating a sense of forward motion and modern energy. The design is built on a modular, geometric foundation that retains a subtle organic touch, making it highly distinctive in a sea of standard geometric fonts.

Released through the Borutta Group, Favela was crafted to bridge the gap between functional corporate typography and expressive display design. The Black Italic version is particularly effective for high-impact visual communication, where its thick strokes and sharp terminals can command attention. Its wide range of OpenType features and unique character construction make it a favorite for designers looking to push the boundaries of contemporary editorial and digital layouts.
