FSP - Favela Medium Regular

Favela Medium Regular is a contemporary sans-serif typeface designed by Maria Ramos and published through The Northern Block. The typeface was inspired by the eclectic and dense urban landscapes of Brazilian cities, blending geometric structure with organic, humanistic proportions. This specific weight provides a perfect balance between delicate thin strokes and heavy bold weights, making it a highly versatile choice for modern typographic systems.

The technical construction of Favela features a high x-height and open counters, which significantly enhance legibility in both print and digital environments. As a member of a larger font family, the Medium weight is specifically engineered to handle complex information hierarchy, serving as a reliable workhorse for editorial layouts, user interfaces, and corporate identities that require a professional yet approachable tone.
