FSP - Vngrd CF xtr Bld Italic

Vanguard CF is a powerful and assertive sans-serif typeface designed by Connary Fagen. It was developed to bridge the gap between mid-century geometric styles and modern high-impact display typography. The Extra Bold Italic weight represents the pinnacle of this family's strength, offering a wide, commanding presence that demands attention in any layout. Its construction focuses on clean, hard-hitting lines and a robust horizontal stance that conveys a sense of speed and modernism.

Originally released to provide designers with a versatile tool for branding and headlines, Vanguard CF has become a favorite for those seeking a font that feels both athletic and sophisticated. The italics are meticulously balanced to maintain the typeface's inherent stability while adding a dynamic, forward-leaning energy. This specific weight is particularly effective for large-scale applications where the nuanced details of its geometric curves and sharp terminals can be fully appreciated.
