Fustat Medium Regular

Fustat Medium Regular is a contemporary typeface that harmoniously blends modern geometric forms with traditional Arabic calligraphic influences. Designed by the renowned type designer Khaled Hosny, this font is part of the Fustat family, which takes its name from the historic city in Egypt. It was specifically crafted to provide a clean, modern aesthetic while maintaining the legibility and soul of the Kufic script, making it a standout choice for bilingual typography that requires both Arabic and Latin characters.

The Medium Regular weight offers a balanced stroke thickness that ensures excellent readability across various digital and print mediums. Released under the SIL Open Font License, Fustat has become a staple for designers looking for an open-source, high-quality typeface that supports a wide range of languages. Its neutral yet distinct personality allows it to function effectively in both high-end branding environments and functional user interfaces.
