Games Regular

Games Regular is a distinct display typeface designed by the prolific Ray Larabie of Typodermic Fonts. Drawing heavy inspiration from the bold, geometric lettering seen in 1970s and 80s arcade cabinets and sports apparel, this font captures a sense of retro-futurism. Its clean, square-proportioned characters and tight tracking evoke a nostalgic yet powerful tech-oriented aesthetic that remains popular in modern digital design.

First released as part of a larger family, Games has become a staple for designers looking to convey strength and precision. The font's sturdy structure and uniform stroke widths make it highly legible at large sizes, ensuring that it stands out in high-pressure environments like sports broadcasting or gaming interfaces. It serves as a bridge between classic industrial typography and contemporary sci-fi visuals.
