Geograph Edit Medium Italic

Geograph Edit Medium Italic is a bespoke geometric sans-serif typeface family designed by the acclaimed Kris Sowersby of the Klim Type Foundry. Originally commissioned as a custom brand typeface for National Geographic, Geograph was created to replace their legacy fonts with a more modern, versatile, and legible identity. The 'Edit' version specifically addresses the needs of high-end editorial layouts, offering refined proportions that excel in both print and digital environments.

The Medium Italic weight provides a sophisticated dynamic slant that preserves the structural integrity of its geometric roots. It is characterized by clean lines, open counters, and a neutral yet authoritative tone. This typeface is widely recognized for its ability to convey a sense of exploration and professionalism, making it a staple for designers looking for a contemporary classic that functions beautifully in complex typographic hierarchies.
