Geograph Edit Regular

Geograph Edit Regular is a refined geometric sans-serif typeface originally commissioned by National Geographic as part of a global rebranding effort. Designed by the renowned Kris Sowersby of Klim Type Foundry, this typeface was built to replace previous branding fonts with a more modern, versatile, and cohesive typographic system. The "Edit" variant is specifically tailored for editorial precision, ensuring that the typeface remains legible and aesthetically pleasing across both high-density print layouts and high-resolution digital screens.

Drawing inspiration from mid-20th-century geometric classics like Futura, Geograph Edit Regular balances mathematical rigidity with subtle humanistic adjustments. It features open counters and a generous x-height, which helps maintain clarity in long-form journalism and complex information design. Its clean lines and functional elegance embody the spirit of exploration and storytelling, making it a staple for contemporary corporate and editorial identities.
