Geogrotesque Rg Italic

Geogrotesque Rg Italic is a semi-modular typeface characterized by its subtle rounded finish, which lends a warm yet technical personality to its appearance. Designed by Eduardo Manso and released through the Emtype Foundry, the Geogrotesque family has become a benchmark for contemporary modular design. The 'Rg Italic' weight specifically offers a refined slant that maintains the structural integrity and oval-based geometry of the upright version while introducing a sense of dynamism and pace to the text.

The font draws heavy inspiration from late 19th-century grotesques but adapts them for the digital age with a systematic and clean construction. Its modular nature ensures exceptional legibility across various screen sizes and print formats. Because it strikes a balance between mechanical precision and approachable softness, it has become a favorite for tech-focused brands, editorial layouts, and sophisticated corporate communication projects worldwide.
