Gotham Narrow Light Regular

Gotham Narrow Light Regular is a sophisticated evolution of the iconic Gotham typeface, originally commissioned by GQ magazine in 2000. Designed by Tobias Frere-Jones, the font draws deep inspiration from the architectural lettering and vernacular signage found throughout mid-century New York City. This specific 'Narrow' variation was developed to provide a more space-efficient solution while maintaining the honest, geometric integrity that made the original family a global standard in modern typography.

The Light Regular weight is characterized by its clean lines and open apertures, offering exceptional legibility even at smaller point sizes. It excels in professional environments where a balance of authority and approachability is required. Over the years, Gotham has transcended its editorial origins to become a powerhouse in political branding and corporate identity, most famously utilized to define the visual language of major international campaigns and tech giants.
